European Tour – Sunday at the Three Principles UK Conference
May 21. Sunday.
And the Three Principles UK conference begins. The most important thing to me, speaking selfishly, is that I saw my new book, Seduced by Consciousness, for the first time. It’s like giving birth—not that I know anything about what that’s like. So I gathered up a few of them from the conference bookstore table and carried them around to give to the people whom I owed them to because they either gave me an endorsement or appeared in my acknowledgments section.
It’s so funny to me—I think I must’ve mentioned this in last year’s blog— but I always feel like a mini celebrity at these things. So many people come up to me and tell me how much they’ve appreciated my books are my videos (which I always forget are out there, because I don’t make any money from them) are they asked me to sign books. It’s a really nice feeling, as long as there isn’t too much of it. But then I leave the conference with my mini celebrity status and go back into real life, and nobody knows who I am. That’s probably a good way for it to be.
I love being around Three Principles people, and I see a lot of people whom I know but haven’t seen in a long time so I love these conferences for that reason alone, if nothing else.
We then came back to the Grove and I had dinner with Keith and Bob Solomon, which was very nice, and I’ve also been spending a fair amount of time with Bill and Linda Pettit, which is also been very nice.
Then, to my shock, I found out that we had to pack up and have our bags already to leave in the morning, when I thought it was the morning after. So I had to scramble to pack everything up. I’m going to be so sad to leave this gorgeous hotel. The lap of luxury. I don’t really feel like I’ve taken enough of the place in yet.
