EuroTrip Blog, Friday November 1
Friday, November 1. Last year at this time we froze our asses off; today was the most beautiful beach day. Amazing. I woke up to have a very early interview session with Amanda O’Shea, as part of her 90 x 90 program, and it seemed to go well and had a real nice feeling. It was during my second evening session that Amanda attended in 2013 that I saw something in her and pulled her out of the audience to invite her to jump into our long-term professional training right on the spot. In it, she had a major insight that changed the course of her life and she’s been involved with the Principles ever since. After that I ate breakfast, then walked with Katja up to the lighthouse, helping her deal with an issue. I had planned on going to the beach after lunch, but it seemed too beautiful to not go right away. So I grabbed my bathing suit and headed to the beach, where a lot of Three Principles people had gathered. I lay in the sun for a while, then took a very nice half-hour swim, then lay on the beach some more, listening to the conversations 3P people were having around me. I loved every minute of it, and the sun felt so good on my back. Then I excused myself from the crowd, went back and took a long soaking bath with the Joni Mitchell book I’m reading. Then lunch, then I ran down to get an ice cream, then I met Sheela and we went to get something that she won’t let me talk about yet because it’s a Viva surprise, then we walked over with Lise to the reception for the Viva speakers. I greeted Dicken, Bill and Linda Pettit, Linda Ramus, Natasha Swerdloff, and others who had just arrived and were staying at the Viva hotel. After drinking a Coke, which for some reason I was really craving, and a raspberry sorbet (on top of the ice cream I’d had—bad me), I ran back to my hotel, then headed over to the Viva hotel reception for all the Viva participants, made the rounds—really nice to see people–then back to the other hotel to sleep. Tomorrow Viva begins.
