European Tour #3 – Old friends in England
Day 28. May 9. Monday.
Taxi from Christian’s to the airport, then 1 hr. flight from Glasgow to Exeter, England, then 45 minute bus to train station, then 2.3 hr. train ride to Truro in Cornwall. Did some writing on my new book.
Sylvie, my new friend whom I met in the French Alps on my 1st European Tour then met in London last year on my 2nd, who is now just moving back from Morzine, France to her place in Cornwall, met me at the station. She’s got a beautiful place in Truro within walking distance from the center of town but secluded.
Then, as luck would have it, Three Principles counselor and hypnotist Russell Davis, who specializes in helping women with fertility issues, was down in Truro seeing clients. So Russell, Sylvie and I had dinner together, then Sylvie went off to teach her Yoga class and Russell and I has a nice talk and walked around the town. Then we retrieved Sylvie after her class, Russell went on his merry way, and Sylvie and I did a bit of shopping and walked back to her place.
Day 29. May 10. Tuesday.
I found out my Greece Retreat on “Breaking Free of the Known” didn’t have enough sign-ups so Mick had to cancel to be fair to the hotel. Since my return flight is from Athens I now have to spend money to change my flight and also won’t have the income from my retreat, so I may as well go back to Florida two weeks early, which is okay.
I still have the Three Principles/Innate Health (Tikun) Conference to do (which is a story in itself for another day) and a training in Soroe, Denmark with Mette Louise Holland, then I may go out to visit Richard on his island in Sweden for a couple of days before flying back from Stockholm.
Meanwhile, here in Truro, I went with Sylvie to her Yoga class, which turned out not to happen. She is having a bit of a difficulty with a business decision regarding association with a Yoga studio here, so I was able to be of some assistance with that.
Then Sylvie took me to have the unique Cornish Pasty for lunch (gluten be damned). As she’s just moving back from Morzine I’ve been helping her get settled, such as moving some wood around, replacing lightbulbs, putting up pictures. Did some laundry—much needed. Very low key day, even while Sylvie is not so low key. I really enjoy being with her, though, and she likes having me here, which is really good because I’m here through Saturday night.
