European Tour Day 9: Brussels with Véronique
DAY 9, March 8.
I spent a very delightful day with the fantastic Véronique Pivetta walking around Brussels. Véronique and companion had visited Amy and me in Vermont when she was in the states, early on in her learning about the three principles, and we got along very well. Her understanding has since skyrocketed because she has done a ton of training. And Véronique is translating Somebody Should Have Told Us! into French.
We walked for miles sightseeing around Brussels and talking. The weather was again gorgeous. I had myself a famous Belgian waffle, and I know now why they are so famous.
The highlight of our journey was seeing La Grande-Place, which was the most beautiful city square I’ve ever seen.
Brussels was a big surprise because I hadn’t expected much, and it is really an amazing city.
That night Gordon and his wife took me out to a nice Italian dinner in a tiny restaurant where they are very friendly with the owner. All I can say is, forget this gluten free stuff on this trip.
Tomorrow is my training here, which Véronique set up.
