Euro4: Preparing for the retreat
November 10, Thursday
First thing in the morning I took a walk/run up to the lighthouse. I’ve done this so many times, and I love it every time. Beautiful views over the Mediterranean, high cliffs, mountains in the distance, the weather very crisp with bright blue skies. I love Spain.
On my way up there I did some planning for my upcoming retreat with Gabriela. I realized three ingredients were necessary for people to be most effective in their one-on-one work with clients through the Three Principles. This framed out the direction we would be going in for the retreat.
I also realized that we want to cover so many different aspects that we may not even have time over five days to deal with everything we want to cover. But it should be fun.
All day long people trickled in to attend the retreat. Seeing all the new friends I have accumulated over my years here truly warmed my heart. Being with Sheela and Katja yet again. And then I saw and met with Gabriela, my good friend and old teaching partner. We haven’t taught together for about 14 years. I so look forward to it. We spent some time planning together. That evening I took a nice walk with Richard; we have a very strong connection, which is so nice.
