European Tour III: Day 22 – “Path” paper to be published
Day 22, Sunday, July 12, 2015
Another really good training day. So many insights from so many people. It gives me such a warm feeling. And to know that no matter what the country, no matter what the culture, the Three Principles are the same for all and continue to touch people no matter where, it’s just really special.
I also love it when people get into their heads and the feeling drops, when just earlier the feeling was so high (when people were talking about their insights), because once I pointed it out and the reasons why, it presents a real life experience everyone in the training can relate to.
This drop had to do with my announcement for the first time publicly that Tom Kelley, Eric Lambert and I finally got our “Path” paper, “Realizing Improved Mental Health through Understanding Three Spiritual Principles”, approved for publication in a peer reviewed (reasonably prestigious) journal, Spirituality in Clinical Practice (JSCP), and the Editor, Len Sperry, in an email to Tom announcing its acceptance said, “We are delighted to publish your groundbreaking work.”
This is huge! When this comes out in a few months it will be the main article to which all subsequent other articles can refer showing a statistically significant relationship between Three Principles Understanding / Insights in Thought Recognition and Inner Health via a Clear Mind and Improved Mental Health.
So in the training I laid out the “path,” and it generated a lot of discussion particularly among the psychologists in the room and they allowed their intellects to take them over. It was a great lesson. But the lesson itself is not as important as the journal article itself.
