European Tour III: Day 29 – Waking refreshed at the end of the tour
Day 29, Sunday, July 19, 2015
It never ceases to amaze me. Last night I had had it. I was exhausted and felt like I had used up all my personal resources. I was crabby. It was probably reflected in what I wrote last night. This morning I woke up refreshed, all ready to go again, as if yesterday had never happened. And it really paid off.
I thought today’s training went great, small crowd or not, and I’m really glad I did it. Not only was the feeling great but there were two Carmen’s in the group and both saw something big for themselves, as well as Anca. One Carmen said at the end that it was like she had been carrying around this bag of heavy rocks on her back for as long as she could remember, and she realized she didn’t need to do that anymore and could just let it go. What could be a better job than this?!
So I have now finished my obligations in Eastern Europe on my European trip leg 2b. It’s been such a great trip! Once again, Oana and Gaspar have been such wonderful hosts. It’s really wonderful to know people in so many different European countries—so many great people.
Leg 3 starts again in a little over a month with my last Three Principles Extended Professional Training, which I am told is now sold out, but which we’re trying to figure out a way to get other people in at a fraction of the cost, either through live streaming or video. So stay tuned for that.
Meanwhile, I can’t believe my trip has come to an end—although it really won’t yet because I have to fly from Bucharest to Athens, stay overnight in Athens next to the airport, and then fly tomorrow from Athens to Montreal, then take a bus (if I can make a tight connection) from Montreal to Burlington, Vermont, then somehow get to my car 45 minutes away which is being repaired at a garage in Middlesex, VT. So the adventure will still continue for a few days. But I’m just about to have Oana and Gaspar take me to the airport in Bucharest…
