Thursday, May 17. This was a much-needed day of rest and an attempt to catch up to what I’ve neglected for the last few days. I dawdled around after breakfast and found out my Boston Celtics just won their second playoff game of the Eastern conference finals. Of course, that outside phenomenon made me very happy. Then I found a park on a map and walked to it and around it, and much to my surprise at the other end of the park I found tube stop called Clapham Corner, which could get me near where I need to be tomorrow. That was fortuitous. Then I found a restaurant where I could get a veggie burger on a gluten-free bun. Then I walked back to my apartment and got a little lost, which was fine with me because I saw where I could eat dinner that evening. Took another beautiful bath. Then went out to get Chinese food take out. Caught up on some email and other tasks. And—ahhhh—just relaxed.
