European Tour #3: Exploring Universal Consciousness
Day 9. April 20. Tuesday.
Whew! My first training is in the books. And I am completely and utterly exhausted. It started early this morning while preparing for the “Deeper Exploration into Consciousness” session.
Yesterday we had talked about very practical issues regarding consciousness, but today we were talking about Divine or Universal consciousness, and in preparing for it I suddenly got a glimpse of the enormity of what it is we were going to talk about. An overwhelming feeling came over me. It brought tears to my eyes. There are no words even to describe it; I just transported into another realm.
If I had conducted the training right there out of that feeling it would have been absolutely amazing. But I went downstairs, still reeling and I bumped into Mick. I started to briefly tell Mick what had happened to me, but then it was time for yoga. And while I was in yoga and got into my form–body, I completely lost that overwhelming feeling I had. I tried to recapture it for the training itself, but I never felt like I really got there.
Nonetheless, judging by the comments I received afterwards, the training itself was a great success. I think some people thought that parts of it were “out there,” but three quarters of it was very practical.
Levels of consciousness
We ended with a focus on levels of consciousness. I hear that some 3P teachers don’t teach levels of consciousness because they are afraid people will think they have to try to get up to other levels. That makes no sense to me. It is our job as teachers to help them see that that is not what we are talking about. When we see levels of consciousness we see the notion of “All possibilities,” which makes the level we are on not have the same intense grip it would have on us otherwise.
The way I construct my trainings, people get as much from each other as they do for me, and this demonstrated itself beautifully during this training. The love people ended up feeling for each other from sharing their souls was truly memorable. I have such a warm feeling for these wonderful people.
At night, Lise led us through a really nice sing-along session, which was a very nice cap off to the day.
