European Tour #3 – Some ideas for working with Rudi
Day 38. May 19. Thursday.
Ahh, a much needed quiet morning of catch-up, relaxing, and dare I say, eating well. One can’t be with Rudi and not eat healthy, and with what I have put into my body on this trip it was a welcome relief.
Then around lunchtime I went with Rudi to run some errands, and on the way back we took a nice walk on one of those footpaths famous in the UK, where Rudi had never been before. On our walk and in the car we talked philosophically about where are at with the Principles these days, how our understanding has evolved, and rekindled our conversation about planning to run a facilitator’s training together in Florida, probably next year around March.
We also talked about putting together a webinar on what we are both most qualified to talk about these days, titled something like: “When Love is Lost—Is It?” Feels right for the two of us to do that.
I was also reminded of a brilliant statement Beverley Hayes (formerly Wilson) made about “hidden justice” when I interviewed her extensively in my least-known book (written sort of as a textbook, which in fact has been used in a few colleges and universities), Prevention from the Inside-Out, and I found it and re-read it. Brilliant! I love Beverley and I miss her.
That evening Rudi and I met up with Peter and Liz Anderson for dinner, and we had a really nice talk—great to be with them—except it didn’t take me long to blow my healthy eating string of three meals. I think it affected my sleeping. Two nights in a row I haven’t slept well.
